Thank you note with a bottle of wine from a HPU Graduate and his wonderful wife.

Hawaii Pacific University hosted it's winter graduation a week a go. We set up a few graduation parties for the night it was great to come into work and a wonderful hand written card and a great bottle of Australian wine was waiting for me. Matt is from Australia and got earned his masters!
 The card read:
"Hey Mike, Thanks for organizing my grad party, it went really well.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Cheers & Beers!
Matt & Cynthia!"

The University conducts two commencement ceremonies -- Spring and Winter. The ceremonies are held at the open-air Waikiki Shell located near the "Diamond Head" end of O'ahu's major tourist destination area, Waikiki Beach, unless announced otherwise. Many hotels are conveniently located nearby to accommodate visiting relatives and friends.

The ceremony generally lasts about two and one-half hours. It may last longer if an especially large class is graduating.
