Hawai‘i Meals on Wheels (HMoW) is dedicated to helping frail elders and individuals with disabilities preserve their independence at home by providing hot, nutritious meals and regular personal contact.
A grassroots effort to fight hunger, to take place on Saturday, April 11 in #ourkakaako. Purchase a handmade soup bowl, enjoy a small bowl of soup, and help the hungry.
Participating restaurants that are donating soup include 12th Avenue Grill, Le Bistro, Mariposa at Neiman Marcus, Murphy’s Bar & Grill, Roy’s Waikiki, Side Street Inn, Cocina, MISSION by Pili Group, Town, Street Grindz, Cafe Kaila, The Pineapple Room by Alan Wong, Tiki's Grill & bar, Cafe Laufer, Stage Restaurant, d.k Steak House, Highway Inn Kaka'ako, Tango Contemporary Cafe, Hula Grill Waikiki, Whole Foods Market Kahala, JJ Bistro & French Pastry, Nico's Pier 38, The Pig & the Lady, Michels at the Colony Surf and California Pizza Kitchen Kahala.
Bread buns are being donated by Halekulani Hotel, La Tour Bakehouse,Hawaii Star Bakery Inc. and Liliha Bakery
There will be live musical entertainment, and you'll have your choice of over 5,000 handmade bowls to take home!
