Hospitality is all about taking care of people. 

Tiki's Grill & Bar is Participating in the Tap Project to provide clean drinking water for children in impoverished nations is an act of hospitality in its purest form. We are asking diners during World Water Week (March 20-26, 2011) to donate $1 or more for tap water that they usually enjoy for free. (Just ask a server to add it on your check.)

The Pulse celebrated Spring Break at Tiki’s Bar & Grill

Weekly we host a event called Taco Tiki Tuesday.  The Honolulu Pulse teamed up with us to host a Special Pulse Edtion of Taco Tuesday on March 22, 2011.  Prizes were given out throughout the night and patrons enjoyed $2 Tacos and $3 Pulse drink specials.

At approximately 11:26 a.m. today, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center cancelled the tsunami advisory for the Hawaiian Islands following the 8.9 earthquake that struck Japan sending a tsunami warning throughout the Pacific.

Travelers heading to Hawaii should continue do so with confidence after checking with their airline as there may be some temporary delays.

Those traveling to Japan should call their airline carrier for the latest flight updates and information.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the people of Japan, especially those who have lost loved ones in this tragic event.

Empty Bowl Project is an international grass roots effort to fight hunger.

Local artist groups make bowls and solicit donated soup and bread from neighborhood restaurants to support a designated local food service organization.

For a small contribution, you can enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread, and take home a hand made bowl as a reminder there are always Empty Bowls in the world.
