"Tiki's Grill & Bar features a casual American and
Pacific-Rim menu with local produce. Tiki's has a very good selection
of surf and turf on their menu along with appetizers, soups and salads.
All of the entrees are delicious.." - Mahalo for the nice Comments
Tiki's Grill & Bar "We went to eat at Tiki’s Grill & Bar. I had the best calamari I’ve ever had and some coconut shrimp." - Mahalo for the nice comment!
We couldn't get Obama to stop in, but Alicia Witt was in Tiki's last night enjoying pupu and a few cocktails. There's lots of great photos online of her, but she's even more beautiful in person. Thanks for stopping in Alicia!

Rainbow Falls is a waterfall located in Hilo, Hawaii. It is 80 ft (24 m) tall and almost 100 ft (30 m) in diameter.
At Rainbow Falls, the Wailuku River rushes into a large pool below. The gorge is blanketed by lush, dense tropical foliage and the turquoise colored pool is bordered by beautiful wild ginger. The fall is accessed by a hike down a slippery path made of stone that ends at the lookout point. The falls are accessed at Wailuku River State Park, coordinates 19°43′9″N
Known in the Hawaiian language as Waianuenue[1], the falls flows over a natural lava cave, the mythological home to Hina, an ancient Hawaiian goddess. Rainbow Falls derives its name from the fact that, on misty mornings, one can see beautiful rainbows spanning the waterfall.

Merry Christmas Michael,
Just to let you folks know that while on vacation in Hawaii this pastJune/July, we happened upon your bar the night before we headed to
Hilo for the rest of our vacation and that night surely ranked near
the top of the list for memorable moments .
and I am so happy I joined her. ....That night at the Tiki Grill was
spectacular. There was a local Hawaiian band whose name Vaihi with a
front-man of similar proportions to Iz who were helping some
friends/family celebrate a birthday. My friend and I made a connection
with the band/ group of friends and eventually we felt like we were
old friends. The band was jamming so fine and as many of us got juiced
up on your strong drinks the party got better and better. We had so
much fun and felt so welcomed by both your excellent staff and the
band that I felt like I had been living there all my life. .......my time in Hawaii has truly transformed my outlook on life
after meeting so many wonderful, open and accepting people in your
beautiful land. Every time we got to meet and talk with people who
have been on the islands for generations, I was blown away by their
generosity, wisdom and openness and the night at the Tiki Grill was a
great introduction to the Polynesian/Pacific culture that we need more
of back here in the states. Here's a couple of pictures of the Vaihi Band and please wish them a
Happy New Year form Molly and I (Dave). Like I said, it was a special
night and I appreciate the band and their friends sharing their
positive vibrations. Mahalo, Merry Christmas and God Bless, Dave Mitchell Western Massachusetts
